Regina's Visit to PALLMANN UK: Fostering Professional Development and International Collaboration
PALLMANN UK is excited to share the inspiring experience of Regina Fraunhofer, who visited us from July 7 to August 3, 2025, immersing herself in the vibrant culture and professional landscape of the United Kingdom. Regina’s visit was not just a professional endeavour; it was a journey filled with unforgettable moments, valuable connections, and personal growth.
Regina, 25 years old, who works for Fußboden Bauer in Kothe, Germany, is a distinguished professional in the field of wood flooring. She excelled in her apprenticeship examination and participated in the German Championship for Wood Floor and Floor Layers in 2019, where she qualified for the European Championship in Graz. Her remarkable skills earned her a Medal of Excellence in 2021. In 2024, Regina completed her Master's Professional in Wood Floor Laying Restoration, graduating as the second-best in her class and specialising in restoring floors in historic buildings.
During her first week, Regina teamed up with Mac Everington (PALLMANN Sales Manager) and spent time with one of PALLMANN’s distributors, Ultimate Floorcare. Here, she participated in a Magic Oil Monday podcast discussing our innovative product, Magic Oil Ergo. This engaging experience set the tone for her productive stay.
Following this, Regina spent just over a week with Sussex Floor Restorations, where she worked on several projects, including the largest one at Slindon College, applying PALL-X 325 and PALL-X 96 Power. The knowledge exchange during these projects was invaluable, allowing her to gain insights into different approaches and solutions.
Regina’s journey then took her to Cornwall, where she spent a week with Cornwall Floorcare. They collaborated on a school project at Double Trees School. St Blazey, utilising All Base Primer and PALL-X 98. While the professional experience was enriching, Regina’s highlight was undoubtedly learning to surf. “One of my best moments was surfing, or rather, trying to surf. It’s not as easy as it looks, but it’s incredibly fun,” she shared, capturing the adventurous spirit of her visit.
After a long journey from Cornwall to Stafford, Regina spent a couple of days at UZIN UTZ Campus, sharing her knowledge and skills with colleagues. This time included hands-on training with machines, various finishes, and colour in our training area, further fostering collaboration and growth within PALLMANN team.
Reflecting on her time in England, Regina expressed, “My time in England was an unforgettable experience for me – full of impressions, encounters, and exciting insights into how things work there.” She emphasised the importance of personal connections, stating, “I met lots of great people, made new contacts, and formed real friendships”.
As she wraps up her journey, Regina leaves us with a powerful message: “You should realise your dream – it’s worth it. Don’t think too long, just do it. Or as we say in Bavaria: Scheiß da nix, dann feid da nix!’” This sentiment resonates deeply with our values at PALLMANN, encouraging everyone to embrace opportunities and pursue their passion.
We are grateful for Regina’s visit and look forward to nurturing the connections she has made. At PALLMANN, we believe in the power of experiences that transcend borders, and we are committed to fostering an environment where dreams can become reality
